 Are there any shackles or remnants of shackles in the slave quarters? No. There are no shackles on site.  It is very unlikely that shackles were utilized in 1815 or beyond. 

Is the property available for viewing or rent? No. The property is not available for viewing and there are no units currently available for rent.

Is the property owned by the Bermuda National Trust? No.  The property is owned by the family of the late Rev. Dr. Erskine Calvin Simmons

Is the property comprised of one unit / one main house? No. In the 1970’s the property was converted from  one home into 5 apartments.

Who owned the property after the Mayor? This information is currently being compiled for this site.  The property was owned by the Outerbridge family prior to Rev. Dr. Erskine Calvin Simmons.
